Graduate Diploma in Christian Education (GDCE) – Fully Online

Be equipped in the planning, management, and delivery of educational services.

The Fully Online Graduate Diploma in Christian Education (GDCE) is for students who are seeking a stronger background in education from a Christian perspective. It is a practitioner’s program for pastor’s teachers, and leaders involved in the planning, management, and delivery of educational services in churches and para-church organizations. The program is a steppingstone for CHED-recognized Master of Arts in Christian Education.

Mode and Schedule of Study

GDCE courses are offered all throughout the year. Students may take a minimum of two(2) courses and a maximum of four (4) courses per year. Each course runs for 12 weeks. Most of the learning time will be spent asynchronously in Moodle, the seminary’s Learning Management System. To reinforce learning, faculty and students can have 2-3 synchronous sessions via video conferencing on MS Teams or Zoom.

Admission Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  2. Computer literacy and comfortability with navigating through online platforms
  3. English proficiency (pass the ATS Admission Exam)

  3. Certificate of Graduation or Copy of the College Diploma
  4. Accomplished Referral from a Pastor
  5. Accomplished Referral from a Church Leader or Employer
  6. Accomplished Referral from a Christian Friend
  7. Signed ATS Statement of Beliefs
  8. Signed Waiver
  9. Recent ID (2×2) picture

Fees

  • Application fee (non-refundable): Php 1,300
  • Tuition fee for prerequisite courses:
    • Writing Academic Papers: Php 4,000
    • Introduction to the Bible: Php 4,000
  • Tuition fee for core, focus, and elective courses:
    • For students from the Philippines and other Asian countries: Php 8,100
    • For students from Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan: Php 12, 165
    • For students from Japan and Western Nations: Php 18,000
  • Miscellaneous fee (one-time payment): Php 5,500
