Faith and Finances: Fully Online MBA Course

The Fully Online MBA Course, Faith and Finances, will run from 18 September 2017 to 3 November 2017. It will be taught by Dr. Gary G. Hoag, PhD. This course is an elective for the MBA program.

Course Description

The Faith & Finances course is designed to equip stewards in personal financial management as a foundation for helping their own household flourish and for administrating God’s work fruitfully in church and organizational settings. Students will explore God’s Word on financial management, learn the core practices and financial skills of faithful stewards, and discover best practices for handling money in marriage, family, and ministry.

About Dr. Gary G. Hoag, PhD

Dr. Hoag has held leadership positions at BIOLA University, Colorado Christian University, and Denver Seminary. Known widely as “the Generosity Monk,” he provides spiritual and strategic counsel to movements and ministries around the world through writing and speaking on faith and finances and helping leaders nurture a culture of Christian generosity among those they serve. Dr. Hoag’s scholarly research appears in the book, Wealth in Ancient Ephesus and the First Letter to Timothy (BBRS 11). He also coauthored two ECFA Press books, The Choice: The Christ-Centered Pursuit of Kingdom Outcomes and The Sower: Redefining the Ministry of Raising Kingdom Resources; contributed chapters to Revolution in Generosity and Becoming a Steward Leader; and was a content reviewer for the NIV Stewardship Study Bible.
