Social Transformation

Biblical & Theological Bases for Social Transformation, an MBA module by Dr. Christopher Sabanal, will be held on February 24-28, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM at the Asian Theological Seminary.

Course Objectives – Students will be able to:
* develop a world-transforming rather than a world-denying form of spirituality;
* see the importance of being committed to justice and
righteousness in one’s relationship with God;
* learn the importance of the spiritual disciplines in the work of
transformation, and understand the relationship between contemplation and action.

This course usher students to a paradigm shift that involves the integration of business and mission by shattering the dualism between what is commonly called “secular” as opposed to what is “sacred.” The course is designed to help men and women in their journey from recognizing and embracing their call to business and mission; build a solid biblical foundation on business and mission; and equip them to become cross-cultural entrepreneurs for the Kingdom of God. This course is ideal for missionary candidates, missions mobilizers, church planters, pastors, and church leaders who want to explore Business as Mission more deeply. This is also helpful for those who are Christian entrepreneurs who want a stronger foundation and deeper missional engagement for their business.
